Girl-band tests Myanmar limits

Myanmar's pop band Tiger Girls is breaking new territory and pushing the boundaries of what is considered acceptable for the country's young.

Modelled after the Spice Girls, the internationally acclaimed British pop group, the Tiger Girls aspire to stretch their paws around the globe.

But in a country where freedom of speech is limited, the group must negotiate the demands of censors who decide what they can sing, wear or do.

Al Jazeera's special correspondent in Myanmar reports from Yangon, the capital.
