He has been called the Kremlin's enemy number one, and has been declared dead several times by Russia's security forces, but Doku Umarov, the leader of Chechnya's rebels, is still thought to be hiding in the Caucasus region.
His brother, Vakha, who lives in Turkey, says Doku and the rebels are fighting for the freedom of the Caucasus.
In an interview with Al Jazeera's Imran Garda, Vakha said though he is not in touch with Doku, he believes his brother is fighting for truth.
