For its 65th anniversary edition, the Cannes Film festival had one of France's most famous fashion icons in the Jury: "Jean-Paul Gaultier". He has just turned 60, after having begun his career as an 18 year-old under Pierre Cardin, since when he has dressed some of the most glamourous stars in show biz, from Madonna to Kylie Minogue and has done costumes for "many movies".
