Oil row revives Falklands tensions

Argentina has asked Latin American nations meeting in Mexico to condemn British plans for oil drilling near the disputed Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic.

It is almost three decades since Britain and Argentina fought a brief but bloody war over the islands, which Argentines call the Malvinas.

But memories of the conflict remain fresh in Buenos Aires, as Al Jazeera's Richard Reynolds reports (22 Feb 2010).
