Dragon makes Pacific splashdown after historic space flight

The first private spacecraft to visit the International Space Station splashed down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California on Thursday.

The Space X company's unmanned Dragon capsule launched on a Falcon rocket nine days ago.

It was carrying half a tonne of food and supplies for the astronauts on board the ISS.
