Frustration grows over Portugal cuts

Tens of thousands of people have rallied in the streets of Portugal to protest against the government's controversial plans for overcoming its economic problems.

Portugal is not alone in the eurozone in facing economic hardship. But as workers prepare for the possibility of a general strike in the coming weeks, many say they feel as vulnerable as Greece, which has seen violent street protests.
