Choppy seas off Georgia's Atlantic coast.
Tropical Storm Beryl cut a path across the southeastern United States on Monday, after making landfall in Florida.
The second named storm of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season reached as far as North Carolina, and created a risk of inland flooding.
Here in Jacksonville, Florida high winds downed trees and power lines - and forced many people to cancel their holiday plans for Memorial weekend.
Beryl peaked near hurricane strength as it made landfall near Jacksonville Beach, packing winds of 70 miles per hour.
That was just shy of the 74 mile per hour threshold that would have made it a Category 1 hurricane.
By late Monday no storm-related deaths or injuries had been reported.
The Atlantic hurricane season officially starts on June 1.
