https://twitter.com/#!/DaBollywoodShowHindustani Classical singer Sucheta Bhattacharjee's fusion album titled 'Love. Bandish. Bliss' was released at a melodiously choreographed event by one of India's most romantic voices, Shaan at the Crossword, Juhu on Friday evening. The evening started with a melodious performance of a medley of some numbers from the album by Sucheta Bhattacharjee. The medley began with a mushy romantic number, followed by a soothing composition by her and ended with a rather glittering bandish of the father of Indian Classical music, Ustad Aamir Khan. Speaking on the occasion, Shaan said, I have known Sucheta since she moved to Mumbai. She is a beautiful blend of a very melodious voice and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the vast domain of Indian Classical music. This album beautifully demonstrates that blissful fusion in the true spirit. Am sure it will appeal to music lovers across ages and with varied sensibilities. The fusion album, marketed and distributed by Times Music, has six soulful numbers, rooted in traditional Indian ragas. The melodious compositions have been made accessible with arrangements in Jazz, Rock-funk and Hip-hop. The album has three songs featuring one of the most favourite voices of the world, Ustad Rashid Khan and one of the most respected voices of the country and Sucheta's Guruji, Pt. Mani Prasad. The songs have been composed by Sucheta Bhattacharjee and one of her students, Dipin Raj.
