Bringing peace to the Middle East is not the only foreign policy challenge facing Barack Obama, the US president - he is also facing an equally daunting task in Afghanistan.
Recent polls in the US suggest a majority of Americans are now against the Afghan war, but few seem to be willing to express
their discontent in public.
