Somali pirates have kidnapped 35 Egyptian fishermen, demanding up to $5m for their release.

Relatives and friends of the kidnapped fishermen accuse the Egyptian government of doing nothing to help free their loved ones, and have started a campaign to gather the ransom themselves.

Al Jazeera's Rawya Rageh met the mother of two of the hostages.
