A court in Egypt has confirmed the death sentence for Hisham Talaat Mustafa, a real-estate tycoon, and his associate for the murder of Suzanne Tamim, a Lebanese pop star.
The death sentences are the latest in more than 200 this year, half of which were tried for premeditated murders, rape, and drug offences in the past two months.
