Lady Gaga's Indonesian promoter said on Sunday (May 27) her concert in Jakarta had been cancelled by the singer's management due to security worries after radical Islamic groups threatened to disrupt the show.
Islamic hardliners promised "chaos" if she entered the country.
Several Islamic groups said they opposed Lady Gaga, accusing the pop diva of promoting and spreading pornography.
Media reported a total of 40,000 tickets had been prepared for the show in Jakarta with prices ranging from 50 - 270 USD.
