Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Actraiser for the Super Nintendo, from Enix. This hybrid of sidescrolling hack 'n slash and urban planning simulation was one of the earlier titles for the SNES in 1991, but is still one of the most unique and polished gaming experiences for the console. You control a god-like figure who must rid the island of evil and restore humanity's faith in your power. Gameplay switches between Castlevania influenced platforming, and a simplified but engaging civilization building mode.
