Cheers as the the Olympic flame arrives on British soil --- after making a special flight from Athens aboard a British Airways flight.
Britain's Princess Anne and David Beckham were among the delegation traveling with the flame
The soccer star and former England soccer team captain is playing a key role in the upcoming Olympics.
SOUNDBITE: Soccer start David Beckham saying:
"To be part of this team bringing the flame not just to England but to the east end of London like you say and to a part of London where I grew up - I am very proud of that."
Starting Saturday, the flame will spend the next 70 days crisscrossing Britain ahead of the opening ceremonies July 27th.
