STORY: Monarchs from Japan, The Netherlands, Brunei, Jordan and Bahrain -- amongst others -- arrive at Windsor Castle on Friday (May 18) and are greeted by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
The monarchs are at Windsor Castle for a lunch hosted by the Queen and her husband as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The inclusion of the the King of Bahrain to the guest list has caused some controversy after his violent crackdown on pro-democracy protesters in the country over the past year.
This year Britain celebrates 60 years of the Queen's reign since her accession to the throne in 1952.
