Nigerian troops secure ravaged town

Heavily armed forces are patrolling the Nigerian city of Jos to bring security and relief after days of fierce clashes between rival Muslim and Christian groups.

During in the sectarian violence, hundreds of people have died and thousands more have fled their homes in fear.

Similar clashes in 2008 left more than 700 dead.
