Fresh clashes have erupted in eastern Chad between government troops and rebels from neighbouring Sudan.
The government says the fighting has killed nearly 250 people in two days, most of them rebels.

Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazley reports from the scene about 100 kilometres south of Abeche, one of two bases used by most relief agencies to help the 450,000 refugees there.
