The destruction of the world's rainforests has been under discussion this week at a summit in the Republic of Congo.

Among the species threatened by deforestation are Indonesia's orangutans. Indonesia's orangutans are among the most well-known victims of deforestation.

However, a plan to release more than 600 of these primates back into the wild has been repeatedly delayed.
