Diane Baker wrote the book on genetic counseling... Well, technically, she edited it. Diane obtained a master's in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College and went on to establish the Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling at the University of Michigan. She served as president of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and sits on Genetic Alliance's Council. Additionally, Diane is a Big Sister (with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization) and a Court-Appointed Special Advocate.
