Europe, May 7: Unending incidents of sectarian violence against the Shias in Gilgit Baltistan have shocked the world. On February 28 and on April 3, terrorists attacked buses loaded with people from Gilgit-Baltistan and slaughtered dozens of members of the Shia community. The daylight attacks took place on the Kakakoram Highway, which is dotted with police and military check-posts. Eyewitnesses claim that police provided weapons to the assailants, who numbered thousands. The Shias and the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, who are now settled across the world, condemned the incidents.
