The Grade 12 student from Forest Heights Community School, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, persisted in wearing a t-shirt bearing the slogan "Life is wasted without Jesus" despite being told by the school to stop.

Undeterred by the suspension, Swinimer plans to wear the T-shirt upon his return to school.
