Human rights groups have welcomed a United Nations new declaration against racism - but they claim political pressure has stopped talk of important issues.

The document, approved by all nations at this week's conference in Geneva, Switzerland, was agreed only after lengthy debate, which exposed serious divisions among member countries.

And some who have experienced racism at first hand do not see things getting any better.
