Barack Obama has officially accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for president with a speech to a crowd of more than 80,000 in Denver.
If elected, he promised to end the United States' dependence on Middle Eastern oil and - quote, "take out Osama bin Laden".
On the domestic front, Obama said he'll bring Americans affordable health care, and tax cuts for 95 per cent of working families.
