CGRundertow DUKE NUKEM FOREVER for PlayStation 3 Video Game Review

2012-05-07 3

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Duke Nukem Forever from Triptych Games, 3D Realms, Gearbox Software and 2K Games for the PlayStation 3. Duke Nukem Forever was in development for about 12 years before it finally released earlier this summer. In a sense, it's fitting that Duke's return went through so many obstacles and lawsuits, because a game this badass should never come to retail quietly. Duke Nukem Forever is rated M for mature, an ironic label for a game that's so unabashedly the opposite of mature. Duke Nukem has the muscles of a bodybuilder and the brain of a college freshman. Of course, that's the way Duke's always been. If you missed out on his games in the mid-to-late nineties, you might not understand what all the fuss is about. And if you go into this game expecting some transcendent shooter, you're not only missing the fuss...you're missing the point. This video review features video gameplay footage of Duke Nukem Forever for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
