CGRundertow CALL OF JUAREZ: THE CARTEL for Xbox 360 Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Call of Juarez: The Cartel from Techland and Ubisoft for the Xbox 360. Or at least, it's supposed to be. We're hoping the game's change in setting is just a cruel joke. The Cartel takes Call of Juarez out of the Old West and into modern times, which is a huge mistake. The Cartel takes everything good away from Bound in Blood, makes its flaws even worse and replaces the characters people liked with characters out of some generic CBS crime drama. Mexican drug cartels are doing what Mexican drug cartels do, and it's up to three wildly different law enforcement officials to stop them. Ben comes closest to what you'd expect from Call of Juarez. Only he's completely unlikable and kind of a douche. Similarly unlikable are the game's mechanics...unlikable in the sense that they're so boring, you'll want to go to war against video game cartels just to keep this crap off the streets. This video review features video gameplay footage of Call of Juarez: The Cartel for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
