This appears to be a band led and/or related to a very young Benny Goodman. This lesser-known 1934 recording is particularly interesting because it is one of the the earliest of this standard, featuring a superb vocal by Tony Sacco and impressive instrumental solo work. Despite thorough restoration, it was impossible to hide the fact that this performance was so much loved by all those who ever owned this record that it was practically played to death. Nevertheless I trust you will still be able to enjoy this rendition of exceptional beauty.
