Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has warned that the country's armed forces will make the enemy regret any act of aggression.
His comments came during a National Army Day parade.
Ahmadinejad did not specify who the enemy is, but tensions are running high between Tehran and the West over its nuclear ambitions.
Both Israel and the US have refused to rule out military action.
