ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: Johnny Depp is a very convincing rock star. The 48-year-old picked up his guitar and stole the spotlight as he joined Marilyn Manson on stage in Los Angeles for Revolver magazine's Golden Gods Awards on Wednesday (April 11). Depp tried to keep a low profile but it didn't take long for the crowd to figure out he was on stage.
Depp, dressed incognito in a black cowboy hat and boots, joined Manson on stage at the Club Nokia show for Manson's cover of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams" and his own single "The Beautiful People." Depp has a history of collaborating with veteran rockers including Pearl Jam, Oasis and Alice Cooper; post-acting-fame, he also started the band P, a collaboration with members of the Butthole Surfers, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Sex Pistols.
