North Korea's fresh-faced new leader has made his first speech in public.
Kim Jong-un took to the podium, after soldiers and sailors showcased the hermit state's military might in Pyongyang's central square.
The North is celebrating the centenary of its founder's birth.
"The flag of our great comrades Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-il will fly forever," he said.
