Classic Game Room HD reviews SPACE INVADERS 91 from Taito for the Sega Genesis 16-bit video game system, aka the Sega Mega Drive. Space Invaders '91 is Taito's remake of their legendary arcade hit, Space Invaders, released in 1991 for the Sega Genesis. Compelte with chunky 16 bit graphics and slammin' Sega Genesis games, this version of Space Invaders can be summed up with one word, HARD! The aliens start right on top of you and blast you with a variety of weapons while you dodge them frantically trying to say alive... IT'S AWESOME! A must play for fans of the arcade original or Atari 2600 (or 5200) version of Space Invaders, this one is slighty different from every other version out there, including the XBLA Xbox 360 remake of Space Invaders. Lots of fun yet not the easiest game to find, Space Invaders 91 will set you back a few bucks, but if you enjoy this classic old school video game then you'll treasure the challange and repeat gameplay available in Space Invaders 91. This CGR review of Space Invaders 91 has gameplay from Space Invaders '91 on Sega Geneis, also known as the Sega Megadrive!
