Kids' curiosity knows no bounds. And what happened to a 7-year-old boy in Sweden is a perfect example of that.

As reported by The Local, this boy wanted to check out the inside of a washing machine but then couldn't get out.

Rescue workers were called for help at that time. It took six of them working for 2 hours to get the boy out. Because of the way he was stuck, they had to dismantle the entire machine gradually and very carefully.

Around the world, there have been many similar scenarios of kids getting caught in unusual places.

A 13-year-old Calgary boy went through a similar ordeal when he got stuck in a washing machine while playing hide-and-seek.

Then there was a 3-year-old boy in China who found himself trapped in the drum of a washing machine. Rescuers used saws to remove him.

In another harrowing incident, a 2-year-old baby was rescued from a well in China. Rescuers used an iPhone video camera to identify the baby's position in a remarkable operation.

As for the boy stuck in washing machine, he was reported as walking about, just fine, after his rescue.
