Unfortunately, it can be very difficult for an independent media outlet to get a fair shake at covering large events including the national conventions held by major political parties.
So, what is the solution to this dilemma? A group called The PPL has started a campaign to give a home to independent bloggers, journalists, artists, activists, and media producers who have an interest in covering the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
