On their own, DLP and LCD technologies are very different, but they share a common purpose of delivering a crisp, clean image to the user. Where one relies on an expensive light that can be replaced, the other uses multiple lights that can add a certain amount of dynamic contrast to the image and a thinner overall footprint.
