Any time that you're looking and actively taking part in something other than driving while you're operating a moving vehicle puts you and others at a heightened level of risk. We may think our driving skills and luck will hold out through almost anything, but the reality of the situation is that you're putting yourself and others at risk with potentially fatal results.
Nothing is as important as keeping your eyes on the road, hands on the wheel, and attention what's going on around you while you're driving. The lasting implications of a traffic accident can stay with you physically and emotionally for the rest of your life.
