Breakdown of Apple's WWDC 2011 Announcements

Apple made three big announcements this week at their Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).

Their web-based service, iCloud will be available this Fall. Synchronizing and storing your files across multiple devices, playing your music from anywhere you may be, and the ability to make updates directly to your applications are among its core features.

Also set for release this fall is iOS 5, a major update to the operating system that runs the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. This update bridges the gap between the iOS and its competitors more popular features.

Coming out this summer, OS X Lion which promises to change the way users experience their app library, bring apps in to the full-screen, and enhance multi-touch functionality.
