In this video, Mark Messina PhD, MS, Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition, School of Public Health, at Loma Linda University, discusses soy and breast cancer in adult women. Many women fear eating soyfoods because of concerns doing so may increase their risk of breast cancer or worsen their prognosis if they have a history of this disease. The evidence no longer justifies advising against the use of soyfoods by women with a history of breast cancer.
