On his third and final day in Cuba, Pope Benedict has called for an end to the 50-year-long US trade embargo while urging the communist island to change.
Throughout his visit the Pope has made thinly-veiled references to Cuban dissidents, and the need for economic reforms.
On his departure his last message was aimed at the United States.
