Two people were killed and 26 were injured in a blast in a food processing plant in central China's Wuhan City on Tuesday (March 27).

A boiler in Luyuan Biopharmaceutical Plant exploded under high pressure. The ceiling collapsed and workers were trapped inside the building.

Rescue workers struggled to make their way past the debris.

It took them two hours to rescue a man whose leg was stuck in rubble.

By Tuesday evening, all trapped workers were successfully rescued from the debris.

All of the wounded were rushed to the hospital, with two workers suffering severe injuries.
