Metal workers have clashed with police over plans to close their aluminium plant on the Italian island of Sardinia.
Angry workers from the Alcoa factory took their protest to Rome, staging a sit-in outside the Ministry of Economic Development.
Many complain that Sardinia is being forgotten by the government.
