Former chief of staff to Prime Minister Netanyahu Naftali Bennett,
faced off against Iranian writer and former adviser to President
Ahmadinejad, Hooman Majd, in a CNN debate last week. During his CNN
debate, Iran's Majd claimed Tehran never said it wanted to annihilate
Israel. In response, Bennett quoted a number of Ahmadinejad's
statements proving otherwise. Bennett said that everyone, including
Obama, understands that Iran's nuclear program is intended for
military use and not for peace. He added that Netanyahu is valued
among leaders and is doing a great job in recruiting world support.
