On the streets of Singapore's Chinatown, a man finds something out of the ordinary. Against an urban landscape: towering skyscrapers, conserved shop-houses, he embarks on a journey that most might consider - irrational.

This film is a tribute to Singapore's urban landscape. Filmed around the civic district and CBD, I hope to showcase a real, honest landscape.
The conflict between history and modernity is a theme in the film. Here, old and new often stand side by side. The march of modernity and progress often swings its executioner's axe, or racking ball, upon other old buildings.
What do these conserved buildings mean to us? Is there room for history, and sentimentality, when forward progress is our raison d'etre? If these buildings depict history, whose is it? These are some questions I hope to raise with this film.
I hope that both local and international viewers enjoy my film, engage with it, and find meanings in their own way.
