The Greek austerity measures became an ugly reality at a small factory in the north of the country, when a worker who had been made redundant shot and wounded his former boss and a member of staff.
The 61 year old then took two employees hostage, demanding his job back.
The wounded men were taken to hospital, but neither was in a serious condition.
