I have been a mime-artist, busker, street-sweeper and Christmas Elf but am most comfortable performing songs and poems in front of indulgent or securely shackled audiences.
I am particularly interested in love stories - but the ones that take place after all those Happily-Evers have gathered a few layers of dust; narratives that explore the darker side of romance in an environment where regrets and insecurities start to take shape and are allowed (even encouraged) to blossom and gather thorns.
I play very regularly all over the UK (and increasingly the world), sometimes in front of a dozen people at someone's house, sometimes to multiple thousands at festivals. I like both equally.
