One year on and the people of Christchurch, New Zealand have been marking the anniversary of the earthquake which killed 184 people and injured many more.
A memorial service was held in the city centre which bore the brunt of the 6.3 magnitude tremour, which brought down buildings in the middle of the day, trapping workers.
