Dozens of tourists, including several children, are rushed to hospital after chlorine leaked into a swimming pool at this resort in Phuket, Thailand.

At least 37 people, many guests at the Phuket Orchid Resort hotel, are treated in hospital as anxious friends and relatives wait for news.

A pregnant woman is reportedly among the most seriously injured - she reportedly vomited after inhaling the chlorine.

Authorities say a malfunction of the swimming pool water treatment pump led to a minor explosion and caused the leak.

Phuket police are investigating the cause of the accident but did not order the closure of the hotel.
