Una was the winner of the IMRO Sponsorsed Glinsk Song Contest in 2004. Thurles born Una Healy emerged as the winner with a song entitled "Every Melody" which she co-wrote with Owen Brady. This was the second time for Una Healy to take home the "Gannon Brothers Crystal trophy" and the IMRO cheque for €1,000. Una first won this contest in 2003 and since then she has become a celebrity on the national stage. In fact, she has just returned from Athens where she provided backing vocals for Brian Kennedy at the Eurovision Song Contest.
