Police not amused by Lithuanian Lenin

2012-02-08 42

Lithuanian police have ordered a man to remove an engraving of Lenin's head from his back yard. The symbol was clearly visible from the street outside.

The man said he hung it on the wall of his pigeon house because the former Communist leader loved pigeons.

But Lithuanian law bans Soviet flags and other symbols. So the head had to go.
