According to the Bible, what is a beast ? A beast is God’s metaphorical meaning to express the character, the nature of a wicked political authority. In Revelation 13:1, there is a first beast coming up out of the Sea. In Revelation 13:11, there is a second beast with 2 horns, coming up out of the Earth. Now, let’s answer the question: Who are the horns of the 2nd beast? We find a clue in Matthew 13:40. “As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.” This same pattern is evident many times in Scripture. How are tares gathered? Tares are gathered out of the Harvest first. Then the wheat is gathered, and THEN finally the tares are burned. Remember: The tares are gathered FOR THE PURPOSE of destroying them, but this burning does NOT happen until after the saints are gathered out.
