It's a battle of might between two rising stars from opposite sides of the Atlantic as Chris Pine and Tom Hardy come head to head in 'This Means War'.
The two men play best friends and CIA agents in the romantic action comedy.
But when they discover they're dating the same woman, this fists are drawn and all-out war ensues.
But if it ever came to a real-life fight, who would win?
SOUNDBITE: Tom Hardy, actor, saying (English):
"Oh come on. Chris, without a shadow of a doubt."
REPORTER SAYING: "Why?"
HARDY, SAYING: "He's a big guy. Have you seen him?"
REPORTER: "You're a big guy too!"
HARDY, SAYING: "Nah I wouldn't want to fight him."
SOUNDBITE: Chris Pine, actor, saying (English):
"Ha, I think Tom's being very gracious. I think Tom would annihilate me."
REPORTER ASKING: "Why?"
PINE, SAYING: "Tom is a martial arts educated man. I think he knows his way around the ring better than me."
Their director McG is certain which corner he'd be in.
SOUNBDITE, McG, director, saying (English):
"Clearly Tom Hardy. I mean I love me some Chris Pine but Tom's a killer."
Hardy actually played a real-life serial killer in his breakout role, gaining 35 pounds of muscle to portray Charles Bronson.
His next part is another brutal murderer -- this time an entirely fictional one, one of Batman's fiercest enemies, Bane, in 'The Dark Night Rises"
So romantic comedy marks something of a departure.
SOUNDBITE: Chris Pine, actor, saying (English):
"I was really excited to work with Reese actually and Chris and (director) McG and try my hand at something I've never done before, which is a bit of comedy. I mean if it doesn't work, it doesn't work and I'll go back to playing nutcases."
Reece Witherspoon plays the object of both men's affections and said they are completely contrasting characters in real life.
SOUNDBITE: Reece Witherspoon, actress, saying (English):
"They've got that whole LA-London vibe going on so they're very, very different. Tom's very intense and Chris is more light but they're both incredible actors."
'This Means War" is released in the US on Valentine's Day and in the UK in March.
