IDF forces gunned down four Hamas terrorists attempting to conduct a bombing operation near the Gaza border on Wednesday. During the exchange of fire all four terrorists were killed and one IDF soldier was lightly injured. Shortly after the firefight, Palestinian terrorists fired a number of mortar shells at Israel which responded with two air strikes against the mortar squads. The attack comes just one day after Prime Minister Ehud Olmert visited the IDF's Southern Command, where he warned that Israel and Hamas were on an inevitable collision course. 11/12/08
